The Problem: A company washes tank trailers and ISO tank containers. The variety of wastes encountered presents a challenge in the treatment of the generated waste. They required that the water be recycled at a rate of at least 50%. The CF 400 was selected as the primary treatment with a WRO3 post-high output ozone process and filtration circulation loop to reduce dissolved organics and suspended solids.
The Answer: The ClearFlow CF-400 has been applied to pre-treat the generated waste stream providing clean, clear water. A secondary process consisting of a 240 g/hr corona discharge ozone circulation loop reduces the dissolved organics present in the effluent from the CF unit. A tertiary filtration consisting of two # 2 100 micron bag filters completes the treatment scenario allowing them to reuse the wash water. Prior to installation of the system they would haul up to 6,000 gallons of wastewater a day. Significant savings are realized.

Results: Consistent, repeatable results are provided by the CF-400 and WRO3. A rugged 304 stainless steel design will provide long-lasting service. Ease of use, infinite variability processing allows the system to be most efficient in consumable use and time to treat. This fully automatic system provides them with the best available technology for a difficult waste stream. The company has installed a second system in GA.
