The Problem: A waste hauling company takes pride in ensuring the collection trucks are clean and presentable to their clients, you, and I. Each day, every truck is washed to remove the day’s accumulation of road film, oil, and grease, some fluids from the collection, and landfill solids. The company needed a system that could remove the contaminants and purify the water to a level safe for discharge to the POTW. The system discharge is tested quarterly to meet discharge Regulation
The Answer: The ClearFlow CF-200 system was installed. The system is set up to automatically treat the wastewater as it is being generated and pumped from an in-ground separator tank in the wash rack area. The system was installed in its own treatment room next to the wash rack. A service program was initiated with the company that provides the required maintenance the systems need without using company personnel. The system has been providing a quality discharge and reliable operation.
