The Problem: The company manufactures various types of fasteners for the aerospace industry. In the process of manufacturing, several waste streams are generated that contain oil, various metals, and solids. In order to save operating costs in the form of hauling charges, The company needed a way to treat the waste streams to allow for discharge to the local POTW. They also required to treat two separate waste streams individually using one system. The ECE ClearFlow System was selected.
The Answer: The ClearFlow CF-200 has been applied to treat the generated waste stream providing clean, clear discharge water. The CF-200 installed at the company is programmed to perform two independent treatment processes in order to keep the waste streams separated as requested by them. The system treats the oily wastewater as the main waste and then when available, will switch programs and valve positions to treat cyanide waste independently and automatically. All contaminants are removed for safe POTW disposal.

Results: Consistent, repeatable results are provided by the CF-200. A rugged 304 stainless steel design will provide long-lasting service. Ease of use, infinite variability processing allows the system to be most efficient in consumable use and time to treat. This fully automatic system provides them with the best available technology for a difficult waste stream.
